About

Born in London in 1993, I am driven to leave behind a positive footprint for future generations to live in an era in which humanity and nature co-exist in harmony. Passionate about contributing towards a more ethical, ecologically-minded and conscious global society, I am a strong advocate of the role of education in restoring a sense of balance and direction in service of people and planet.

In support of this dream, I co-founded Le Ciel Foundation, a UK based charity whose mission is to reverse the current societal and environmental collapse, and create greater connection, balance and harmony with all life on Earth, for us and 7 generations to come.

My art draws upon the beautiful, still and chaotic essence of nature. We so often admire its beauty, forgetting that we too, are part of nature. The same essence and qualities we find in nature, exist within us, waiting to be uncovered.

Photographs of the night’s sky and billowing trees taken with a 30 second shutter speed capture distortions of reality and offer a fleeting glimpse into a world beyond what meets the eye.

Watercolour paintings of my favourite places in nature in bright, fantastical colours invite a sense of magic back into our lives.

By merging a tangible reality with a more subtle and subjective plane of existence, my works draw upon the illusory nature of life.

Inspired by, and in gratitude to, Nature.

Exhibitions

My first solo exhibit, Halfway Through The Woods, captured moments perceivable only through a camera’s distorted gaze. Inspired by ephemeral light and scintillating colours, I sought to portray a semi whimsical world that resides only in the viewers’ imagination. The  subject of this work stems from dispersed light and its resonance in nature. In certain series, this inspiration was combined with my being stuck indoors, from where I had a fragmented view on the outside world. The window  series captures precisely that- doorways into other dimensions.

The exhibition’s title was inspired by my favourite composer and songwriter, Stephen Sondheim, and his musical ‘Into the Woods’ in which  numerous fairy tales are intertwined to explore the concept of what happens  after ‘ Happily ever after’. My works run on a parallel course  as they too display contrasting elements of eeriness, serenity and make-belief  through the use of an intense and fluctuating palette of colours and effects, connected only by the woods.
